Methods

method namelaboratorymethod comment More details are available for the following variables
CALCULATEDUNKNOWNN/A
ELECTRON MICROPROBEUNKNOWNJEOL 8600MX electron microprobe operating at 15kV acceleration voltage and probe currents of about 20 nA. Matrix corrections were made according to Bence and Albee(1968). Quantitative mineral analyses were also obtained using a JEOL 840A scanning electron microscope equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray analysis system (Link An 10000). Samples and appropriate mineral standards were measured at an acceleration voltage of 20 kV and the beam current constancy was controlled by a Faraday cup. The usual ZAF correction procedures were applied
INSTRUMENTAL NEUTRON ACTIVATION ANALYSISUNKNOWNirradiated in the TRIGA-reactor of the Institut fur Kernchemie (Universitat Mainz) for 6 h
